During the spring we are rushing off to start tincturing our herbs. This class covers important basics to ensure that we capture the phytochemicals we are after in plants by using the best solvents and methods for our purposes.
- Learn when to use alcohol, vinegar, glycerin, water and how to measure the strength of the menstrum
- How to harvest and tincture, aerial parts, roots, barks, berries
- How to calculate dosages
- Our focus herb for this class is Yellow Dock (a super cleansing herb)
- Visit the early spring herbs in the gardens
